Ive read through the Simpson site on safety and how to properly install harnesses, but im wondering if anyone has pics of how they did their's?

 

good question. I mounted my shoulder harness to the cage crossbar, the two lap belts to the rear seat bolts and the center to the crossmember under the seat. Is this normal or legal?

 

that is the only way I have ever done it. Not sure if this is the "legal" way though.

 

Yes, that is the way that you should do it. Make sure that the crossbar is just below shoulder height.

 

I've got a sparco 3pt. I have the shoulder straps mounted to the back seat to the center seat belt mounting point. I have the lap belts bolted behind the seat. Thinking I need to remount the lap belts somewhere else, but not sure where.

 

i don't have my back seats but i mounted my shoulder straps to where my seat belts would be in the back seat and the two sides i mounted them to where my my stock seat belts were. and that works for me but i also don't know if that is legal or not.
