car alarm ? : anybody use the audiovox aps 996

hey guys

i'm looking to buy an alarm for my car, i came across this one. http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/AVXAPS996 anybody ever heard of it? used it? or anybody know of anywhere i could get a decent alarm for a decent price?

any suggestions???

i would recommend not using any audiovox alarms.. they are nothing but trouble. I work for a circuit city and we used to carry the full line. every single one had a problem. the brain of the unit dies out after a week. if you want to get a good alarm get a viper 790 it has everything you could ever need and probly a lil more.
