Default VAFC for a sohc vtec

I am planing to put bolt ons and a cam and maybe a little head work on my ex civic and i want to make sure the air/fuel ratio is good when all to the mods come together. I was wondering if the apexi VAFC is a good choice rather than using just a adj. fuel pressure regulator

V-AFC is only good for fine tuning your fuel mixture after you have adjusted the desired fuel pressure with the fpr. If you are happy with the stock pressure then go for it, but you won't be getting the maximum benifit of the V-AFC. My suggestion is to have both, but it really kind of depends on what your plans are for the engine.

VAFC is a good little toy....I miss mine already.

you will need to spend some time on the dyno if you want best results though.
