Maybe if some of these idiots didn't post so much of their info online or blur their license plates in pics their cars would be safe. It seems like a large majority of people on this board care about being "seen" and being accepted, as a result they post up tons of pictures, each with details about themselves that they might not recognize but to a theif that wants their car it can be valuable information. I'm not saying in anyway that it's right, but if people are so worried about theft then stop posting so much info about you and your car.

well thanks for giving such a good description of your car....

Exterior:
One shitty factory paint job that has seen better days and many of rocks along with a krylon flat black front bumper. Huge dents in driver side quarter panel and door.

people are far too nervous about posting on the internet... i know thieves are cruising this site at this very moment, but that doesn't mean that he's looking for a car that he might want to steal...

want to know where thieves are... mostly likely they're at track events or they've seen your car in person and followed you or wrote down your plate numbers...

Yep, I could give a **** less about blurring my plates or posting my setup. Word of mouth around town happens anyways. If they want your car, hey will take it. Regardless if they have your liscence plate number, etc. My last two cars were stolen, and neither of them had been posted on the internet or anything

True, but this still remains a resource for them which is pretty sad, since the majority of people are looking for help with their cars and a place to meet those with a similar interest. I would agree with you though that alot of thieves do just prowl car parking lots writing down plates.
