Default 97-01 crankshaft

Will a 97-01 h22 crankshaft fit an h23 block? Sorry if this is stupid...don't flame me

97 might. I am not positive but I was told that some 97 cranks have a different diameter journal bore. Some are 50mm (same as the 93 -96 H22 cranks) and some have 55mm bores like the 98-2001 H22 cranks.

You might want to find out the answer to this question before buying a 97 crank. I am positive 98-2001 cranks have the larger, 55 mm bore. I am just not sure about the 97 crank. 93-96 H22 cranks definitely have the 50mm bore.

Alright, yeah. That just rang a bell in my head, I've heard the same thing about the larger journal bore. I read it a while ago, guess I just didn't remember it til now
