Default Volts droping after 4 grand

There is something wrong with my car, it idels fine about 13.6 v's, but when i am driving and i mash the gas after 4 grand my car acts like the battery is runing out, it goes to 10 or 11.1 v's and gets really slow when i am on it, but if i gas it really slow it doesn't do it, it's very strange?

anyone know whats sup

also when i hit the gas hard after 4 grand my greddy turbo timmer starts to count down like i shut off the car, it turns on and off, it has never done this beofe? I never touch the greddy turbo timmer

@ night when the volts drop all my lighting gets really dim inside and outside and i lose alot of power wtf

Think the dizzy is going bad?
Coil?
Plugs?

anyone know?

How do the brushes look on the alternator? It sounds like it may have had heavy duty cycles, and is wearing out. I'd check the alternator first. Take it off the car and bring it to ricer zone or someplace like that where they test it for free.

Nothing to do with the dizzy, coil, or plugs.

It's all about the alternator.

If the alternator spins faster it only make sence it make more power but could it be the pulley the is slipping or I'm just stupid and should just shut up.

Well, yes, that's what the alternator should do, but it isn't.

Then it can only be a faulty alternator.

Mine kinda did this. It was the alternator, sounds like your problem too. My belt was too tight.

Ok, one more time.

It is your alternator!

it should be three or four bolts that attach it to the block and a couple of quick release wire clips... nothing special, just go take a look at it.

You'll have to pull you driver's side axle out to get the ALT. out...

ya, alternator is toasted.

time to get rid of the 4 15's in your trunk yo!

seriously though, if you've got a big amp or whatnot it might be time to think about downsizing your stereo if you have one. honda alternators dont like big stereo systems.

BTW you don't have to take any axles out to take off your alternator. It's two bolts, one on top and one the bottom. The only problem you may run into is the bottom bolt sometimes its stuck and you have to fight with it.

Edit: Dont forget the wire and the clip...lol
