Default The Tranny is REBUILT

So I finally got my Auto tranny rebuilt on my F22A6. ******* thing shifts so fast and gives a serious kick. Even the shifter feels tighter. Anyone wanna venture a guess on how much this little expenditure cost me?

A. $800
B. $1000
C. $1200
D. $1400
E. $1800

You guys are too much. You really are POST ******. Take a guess. It was rebuilt using all Honda parts as well as the torque converter at a transmission specialist. Let me quote him, "Your transmission was rebuilt before, it was missing a few bolts, hehe."

well, the cost all depends on who rebuilt it and to what extent they replaced the parts... just dropping the tranny alone and reinstalling it will clock you 8 hours at a Honda dealership... but lack of sufficient information, i'll guess 1200...

O.K. in all seriousness, I'll guess it cost you 1,000.

Well, it probably cost you $800 since you would not be bragging about it unless you got a great deal. Otherwise, you can look to spend $1000 to $1200 for a rebuild.

Actually, I'm bragging about how much it cost me. He used all honda parts and replaced almost everything including the torque converter. It ran me up to $1400. I saw cheaper deals, but those places send your transmission to another place to get it done, and I didnt like that. I stuck to what I knew. I think it worked out for the best. He would have charged $350 just to remove my tranny in drop in another one.
