92 civic si w/jdm h22 should i go turbo or supercharged?
like it says guys, i looked for forums on this but didnt find anything. their is a guy selling me a jackson racing supercharger for about 1200. he had it on his lude for about 1 month and supposedly blew the motor. if i decide to purchase this, is their anything i shold look for wrong on the supercharger if the motor blew? or should i not even bother with the supercharger and go turbo? do i need to reenforce any of my internal enegine parts with like a blockguard, etc.?
thanks again guys,
thanks again guys,
it is my understanding that the jrsc will not fit on a h22 swapped eg. plus, its all personal preferance.
egh you got unrealiability with the charger, since you already have a 22 i would go just all motor, get a set of mild cams and im sure you will be happy
yes i do? I have a 93 hatch w/h22 stroked to a 2.4L W/ XS T67 BB W/NOS PRO RACE FOGGER SYSTEM??
this is a street car
,i am going for 600 hp just turbo"not a problem"
and over 700 with the "GAS"
.i am also shooting for over 500+ tq"the power of being stroked".
of course everyone knows that you cain't put that kind of power down on the streets, sometimes even the tract.I am looking to run a high 9. if I can get the power to the ground.
I only built this car for personal satisfaction not to compete
.I will be posting pics very soon,or have some one do it for me.
but to answer your question:it depends on who you have build, assemble, and tune your car.i have turboed several h22 hatch's and they have not had any problems that i know of,but that is not to say they won't have.

That's because Golden Eagle isn't really a block guard as much as it is sleeves.
Block guards suck **** - period. The kind that you tap in with a hammer pinch the tops of the cylinders and create hot spots up top in the cylinders, thus being shitty for boost of N/A.
