clutch chatter
Alright so my clutch started to chatter today. I'm just wondering what causes this and what can be done about it. Its a stock clutch with about 25-30k kms on it in a 92 GS.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Warped clutch disk, or something bent in the hub so it isn't straight anymore.
But more likely, the flywheel, pressure plate, and/or the clutch disk itself is unevenly worn. Kinda like brake rotors being warped or imprinted with pad material; at least one of these surfaces has uneven 'slipperyness'.
Replace your clutch & pressure plate, resurface your flywheel.
