FMAX--I am finally BOOSTING!!!!
I got is all together finally!! I will post final pics later tonight of the completed project. Scott and Jhame will be making new pipes for me but I got things rigged up an running!
I took it out for a bit and went softly with it. I had a bit of smoke coming out from under my hood but that cleared up and I think it was some stuff burning off the manifold. I hit the gas a bit and heard and felt the turbo spool up but not till about 4000RPM and felt the surge but it petered out at about 5500 RPM and felt things level off. I assume my Hondata is just not tuned exactly right yet. We'll see.
I got my Blitz SBCid wired in and working too. Apparently, according to a few people I contacted, that you can lower boost below your wastegate spring with an EBC to a certain extent. My spring is a 9psi and I set my boost to 6 on the controller and I pushed it a bit and peaked at 6.8.
So for now, things seem ok!!! I'm very excited!!!
