FINALLY!!!! Got my turbo installed!!! Damn it sucked!!! It's not hard to install it's just all the little BS that takes forever.
1st- - all the piping wasn't there.
2nd- - The nut on the oilpan inbetween the oilpan and the flywheel was stripped!!! That took forever to tap out!
3rd - -had to find an oil retun line
4th - Didn't want to hook up the black box (greddy kit)...so had to find a missing link...

Had everything installed (except the missing link) and took off! Boosted once, boosted twice...then stopped boosting! I was like WTF!?
Then I reallized...Oh yea I didn't hook up the black box.. the fargin map sensor is seeing boost...
Back to the shop...put the missing link on. take off again...still no boost...WTF!!!!???
So I go home (30miles from the shop) go to Sonic to get some food while I'm there I pop the hood again...start looking and ....OH ****!!! the pipe from the intercooler to the intake wasn't connected!!! FARCK!!! So I cruzed 30miles + without running an air filter!!!
anyway get home take off the air filter and hook up the piping, put the air filter back on, closed the hood crossed my fingers and went for a test ride...FFFOOOOOOOOOOT PPPPSSSSSTTTTT!!!! Sweet!!! Damn I was happy!! Burned up all the unleaded fuel I had put $5 in super and went looking for a race.... Mustang,won, 300z N/A won, Z28 got him off the line but he won...he was cool though got the for fairly keeping up...An SI pulled up (going about 30mph) let the blow off valve go...hehehe...pulled up to the next light and he says.."heard the BOV...I don't think I want to play." Then he's trying to sell me his SI....hahahaha...he was cool though. anyway...I need to changed the pipin to 3" and I'm going to put my buddys GSR injectors in...and a boost controller...then paint. I will pic posts after I paint it....Thanks for reading holler at yall later.

damn....I would have taken it easy for a while just to make sure everything is fuctioning properly. but to each his own.

 

Sounded like fun But why are you going with GS-R injectors when yours are identical?

 

BTW since you're not usuing the GReddy FMC, what are you doing for fuel? FMU or what? How much are you boosting?

 

I had a little over half a tank on 87 octane left. . . believe me I was watching it...

VTC_civic I have an ex I think the injectors are 210cc and the GSR are 270cc.
I'm using a Vortec FMU. . .works great!!

Your Injectors are the same as the GSR injectors. They are all 240.....but the GSR are not 270cc injectors. They are the same as the EX.

That is correct, the Gsr and Ex both have 240cc injectors..

if you want a little bit more fuel just get the newer gen prelude injectors they are 290cc.

 

That sucks...I had a hard-on already for the bigger injectors....oh well... I'll just do the piping and boost controller for now.
