Default Easy Air Filter Solution even in tight spaces!

I was originally having lots of problems trying to get my filter to fit in the small spacing that i had in the bay. After trying to buy some 90 degree mandrel bend from Kteller and it still not fitting correctly, I looked at the apexi filter solution using the rubber hosing and came up with my own.(well, sort of)

1 3" to 3" rubber hosing at home depot
and whatever size K&N filter you can almost think of at:
http://www.performanceintl.com/shop/kn.cgi

cut part of the rubber hosing off since the opening actually flares out to almost 3 1/2"

then screws right up.

that rubber hose isnt gonna melt on me or anything is it??

I would double check the heat range on that rubber thing. The compressor housing can get quite hot.
