Default My new tranny redline's at 80 mph in seacond gear !

Hey guys just thought i would share the results of my new tranny. To start off i have a 94 civic sedan with a 1.6 sohc v-tec and the old tranny busted and was leaking black oil with metal threads. So I decide to buy a new tranny from jdm **** four 250.00 shippedand and installed for 150.00. The tranny they gave was supposedly for a 94 1.6 v-tec but the results suck .the low end is sorry but in the high end it's good. Seacond is the best, its redline is at 80 mph.My launch is weak also revving at 62, i bearly get a little chearp. Eventhough I still get on mustangs, while he is shifting to third I am not even redlining seacond!

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, that new tranny you have may be a cx version....

get under the car and look on the tranny by the drain plug.... there should be a little stamp/plug that says "A00 OR B00"... what does it say?

A guy at a shop is willing to swap a b16 for 2200 and installed. But in return he wants my single cam. think its a good deal.

Hell NO! Spend the 2200 on boost for your z6, get the right tranny and you'll be just as well, if not better than a b16
