Default tach doesnt work after swap

I swaped motors and now the tach doesnt work?
Did i forget to plug it back in?
Also is there a fuse on the fuel pump, because i wasnt getting any fuel, turned on acc. and listened and the pump wasnt on,pulled it out and hooked it up to the battery and it works fine so i just ran a wire to the stereo fuse.
If anyone can help me out we would appretiate it..

You're asking us?

I can't imagine why you would have unplugged anything under your dash when doing an engine swap, but it sounds like you have. There's an issue with the main relay if your fuel pump isn't coming on. While you're under there checking that out, check to see if the cluster is plugged in.

recheck everything you did....make sure you left no sensors unplugged VSS etc. and check all fuses. You also may need to upgrade your fuel pump anyways..its always a good idea.

could be a problem within the gauge cluster itself...if you checked everything and its fine...then i dont see why there would be a problem.

ok,i have a Kenji chipped p28 with itr spec,im using the stock 92 civic si cabin harness, all the way to the shock tower.
Its a 96 jdm itr motor and im using a 00 usdm itr wireharness.
Would the usdm harness have the tach wire?
I didnt mess with anything as far as wiring goes inside the car, just the motor swap related harness stuff.
It worked fine before the swap.

yes the usdm itr harness has a tach wire....did you take the cluster out of the car during the swap... if so recheck all the wiring you did again and again...you might have made a mistake there...if not then i have no idea.
