Default H22 ignition/starter/fuel? Don't know...

I got a 95 Accord w/ an H22a, MSD ignition, AEM fuel rail, AEM fuel pressure regulator etc. My problem is it doesn't start on the first try every time. It takes a couple turns of the key and then it'll fire up. I'm confident it'll start, eventually but I want it to start on the first try u know...What could be the problem?

Have you checked the cap and rotor?

Three small bolts (maybe 10mm) holding the cap down to the distributor. Once the cap is removed you will see the rotor. If the rotor is black/burnt...rough surface then replace. The rotor is held down by a screw, and a rotor shouldn't cost you more than 10 dollars. However since you got the JDM engine, you will have to look for an internal coil distributor cap.

Hope it helps
