I did a search but didn't come up with what I'd hoped.
I recently picked up an Itr header for my B16 and was curious about a rumor(or fact) I'd heard about the bracket that attaches at the bottom of the header to keep excess weight stress off the cylinder head. The question is I know the bracket will work on a B18 because it was made for that motor..But will it attach to a B16?
If not then I wanted to know what should I do about this. I know that there are many H-T members out there that have an itr exhaust manifold on their motor. What did you guys do about this?...Did you make it work somehow?...Did you fabricate something to make it work?..or did you say screw it and let the cylinder head take the excess stress of the weight and some movement and it will be fine?
Any thoughts and info would be greatly appreciated. I plan on applying it to the motor this weekend and I want to be prepared to do what has to be done about this
Thanks

just put on my ITR header on my B16A2 and the bracket doesnt fit. Although, if you could manage to pop out the welded-in boltson the stock bracket, then the hanger would bolt up to the header. Im going to see tomorrow if my muffler shop can pop out the bolts for me somehow.

I suppose my real question is do I risk damageing something by not usuing a bracket for header support? Honda designed this bracket for a reason I would of thought. I just wanna hear what guys with an itr header has done about this if anyhting. Thanks

No bracket, no problem.
As long as the header bolts are tourqued and the exhaust is connected to hangers you will be fine.
BTW, I love my b16a with JDM 4-1 ITR header! Great gains.
