Default Difference between 92-95 exhaust and 99-00

I have a chance to get a free 2.5" catback but its from a 00 civic so what exactly are the differences in exhausts from a 5th to 6th gen? And it has a really crappy sounding muffler on there now any suggestions on a muffler too?

I while back I kind of was in the same situation. I picked up a full '99 si stock exaust for $60(!) just to experience with. The mid-section was a direct bolt-on, while the muffler was about 4" too long...I had a '92 cx hatch...so I gave it to my buddy, who bolted it right up to his '94 ex coupe, no problems...hope this kind of helps man

I think all 92-00 coupes have the same exact exhaust configuration...
