I tried a search and im not sure if im not giving the proper title or what but i have been unsuccesful . my question is this: At this point my dc2 gsr is gutted completely, panels ,sound deadening ect. Just two seats a cage and a dash. will this automatically put me in an open class? I am building the car with road racing in mind but in the mean time i wanted to try a couple of auto x
events and am curious what would i be stacked up against. Any input would be helpful without flaming. Thanks

With that interior, or lack thereof, you go to prepared, which one depends on the car model and motor. If it's a motor the car did not come with, then probably modified class. Each of those classes also has minimum weights, specific wheel and tire limits, and engine and suspension prep limits. If you are dealing with non-scca rules, then I don't know what's allowed.
