Default Is a camber correction kit necessary with aftermarket coilovers?

I've seen some guys use camber correction kits with their aftermarket coilovers, but some guys don't. Is it simply a function of how far you drop your car? Is camber correction not necessary, but advisable? I'm looking at getting some Apex'i N1's for my '00 ITR, so I'd also welcome any opinions about the N1's for our cars.

I think I'd like about 3/4" drop, not much more. I don't want to mess up my alignment and cause premature tire wear if I can help it. If I don't drop the height at all, is a camber correction kit needed, or is it only needed when you change the height?

With a 3/4" drop there shouldn't be any serious issues with camber.

you only really have to worry about camber w/ close to 2" drop, most under that won't affect it too drastically...

you could always go w/ Mugen lowdowns, .75" drop too....

I hear in some coilovers you can adjust the camber a little?..or did i hear wrong?.. how is this possible n e ways, and is it adj enough to correct a drop on the lowest setting (even though i know that way too much)

Yes I like the amount of drop that's built into the Mugen lowdowns. The adjustability of coilovers is an added plus.

Jim, I'am interested in MUGEN Lowdowns. Going to run SM or CSP next year. Come out to last event this Sunday at the Woodlands. We can talk about this. Bob

Actually coilovers with adjustable pillow ball mounts usually have some camber, toe and caster adjustibility.

Bob: you're thinking about switching to SM?? Hmmm. Sounds like you have more planned for your car than just suspension. I'll see you at the autoX on Sunday.

Todd: it'll take more than suspension/tires for me to catch Wes. I think my best hope is if he runs out of gas again.

haha. Well Wes still *is* human. I beat him at the last AutoX. He was on street tires like myself.
