I got the Skunk2. I really like mine.Great sound, not too loud and doesn't sound like a fart can.

I had an APEXi N1 on my 00 SI. Deep sound, loud, very loud/screamer in VTEC. Canister/tip is friggin huge, 5". I recently installed a Skunk2 N1 catback. I love it. Very, very deep, and nice smooth tone. It is also a loud system, but I think sounds nicer and looks nicer (smaller tip and canister than APEXi N1) than the APEXi N1. Skunk2 sounds great all around and the the whole system is polished stainless..

As you can see, I'd go with the Skunk2..

Just got a whole Apex N1 system (04 WRX) this weekend for $180, cat-less, big exhaust that I need to polish. Comes tilted, a little louder then I wanted but beggers can't be choosers!

if you got the bills i would get the spoon axle back or tanabe supermedallion.
They both sound real nice, legal decibels and pretty good HP. I have the latter in cat-back, set me back 7 bills but worth it

I have the Apexi N1. Its loud but it is deep (especially after I added some cams. The sound change is unreal). My only problem with it is that it is not SS . When my N1 rots out then I'll be upgrading to the GT-Spec. My friend had the Invidia (skunk2) and I was impressed. Even on a D-series (which imo sounds like crap) it sounds nice and it is very deep (it doesnt sound like a d-series). I would get the skunk since it is SS.
