Default Do I need to buy a fuel pressure regulator when installing a 190lph in a b16b swaped 98 hatch?

I know the small cx pump would not keep up so I bought a 190lph pump for my swap. Will this raise my pressure at the rail? Will I need to turn it down with a regulator and a gauge? Or will it be fine to install on the stock regulator and forget about it. My motor is stock for know except for e/h/and E. I think stock b16a pumps around 135lph or so. Thanks for the help.

your stock regulator should be fine. If the pump is what raised fuel pressure then there wouldn't be fuel pressure regulators. The larger fuel pump will allow for a larger flow rate, but the fuel regulator will allow the stock fuel pressure.

When i install my 255lph fuel pump, the normal pressure raised from 35psi to 40psi, and WOT is go from 40psi to 45 psi. Is this something wrog with my regulator?
