Alright, we'r having a lil argument over the fuel pressure regulator. My friend has a 89 CRX and he just bought a Walbro 225lph fuel pump GSS-341 HIGH Pressure one, so does he need a fuel pressure regulator?

i have never had one on a stock reg, but people here will say yes. now that i have been thinking about it, i dont think the stock reg can handle the volume of the fuel returning. but that is an assumption. i dont know for a fact.

 

I was on a walbro 255lph with a stock fpr for a 6 or so months with no problems.

255lph will run on stock regulator no problem but with the 255hp you would need an after market one, aeromotive is recommended
