After clutch install question! ACT HDSS
Ok I finally got the h23vtec running!!!! Just working out all the little glitches.
So in the process of the build I installed an ACT HDSS clutch. And when I went to pull the carout of the shop the clutch was really weird. Its hard to explain. I would have to hold the clutch to the floor with all my might to keep it disengaged. Then in order to move the car I only had like 2 inches of pedal travel to engage it.
I mean I hada clutchmasters stage 3 before and it used the whole pedal to engage it. Like I said its hard to explain but it would be nearimposible to drivethis daily and its not suposed to be a hard clutch.
So what you think? Is it normal till it is broken in?

I have the ACT HDSS & mine was never as difficult to push in as yours sounds....Hoever, I also found that that the point of engagement/disengagement was to close to the floor...I adjusted my point of engagement right on the pedal assembly...If you look at the clutch pedal assembly, the threaded rod can be adjusted to suit your preference
Hmmm I guess i will have to look at it. I dont know it was just horrible to drive that 20 ft I had to. Maybe it will be ok maybe not. I just dont think its normal
