does anyone make +2mm wheel spacers, searched
I am looking for 4x100 +2mm spacers, I have searched and someone said H&R made them but the smallest they have is +5mm. +3mm is the smallest I can find anywhere but i really need +2mm for my rims.... is there +2mm spacers out there?
thanks
thanks
ok long story...
I have 4 16x7 40mm rims w/ 205/45/16 tires. 1 rim is bent (beyond repair). The rims are out of production, i have searched all over. I found 2 somewhat similar rims, 16x7 42mm but not exactly the same. It would not be that noticible that 2 of the rims are different from the original 2 as long as they are on the opposite side of the car. so that means i would have the +40mm ones on the driver side and the +42mm ones on the passenger side because the two +40mm are the same style and the two +42mm are the other style. So I need (2) +2mm spacers for the +42mm rims so the car will not pull to one side. Right now the smallest I can find is +3mm which will work if I use +3mm spacers on the +40mm side and +5mm on the +42mm side but then that will put me at +37mm at all 4 corners which will rub very bad. So If I can find a pair of +2mm spacers then I will be set
If +2mm spacers are this hard to find what do you think about just buying a pair of +3m spacers and having a machine shop take of 1mm... or is that easoer said than done?

they are ADR lightning, kinda rare but not expensive when they were new. there are almost identical styles made by other companies but no smaller than 17"
I would love a new set of rotas
but i'm stuck on the $500... id rather buy a pair of used rims for <$100. my banged up rusty hatch isnt worthy of new rims
and I dont have to worry about any theives ripping off my 2 mismatched pairs of rims
I care more about handling than looks, and im cheap

If you won't be able to tell that you have different wheels on each side, I don't believe you will be able to see 1 mm difference in offset. But anyway, we make the ones for OPM and I think we can help you. Im me or call tomorrow (wednesday) and I'll see what we can do.

If you care more about handling than looks and you're cheap, then just put one set in back, and the other up front.
Another option is to turn the 40mm offset rims into 42mm offset rims by having a machine shop shave 2mm (really not that much) off the mating surface.

If Walt can't set something up for you, I'd put the 40mm offset on the front and the 42s on the rear. In fact, if you check your car stats, there is a good likelihood that your front and rear track width aren't the same front and rear anyway. Put the 40s on the narrower end. I don't think you'll ever see 2mm of offset and the car will still be symmetical.
