Default Aftermarket front lips.....

Wondering if anyone has purchased not OEM pieces and had any luck with fitting... I just recently ordered a amuse style lip from a place on the internet and it doesn't fit at all. I would like to have some input from anyone that has experience with this so I won't make the same mistake again....... And if anyone has some good pics showing fitting that would be great

you'd be surprised at how well some of the copies fit, almost better than the originals.

crxoncrack, go to http://www.teamspugen.com if you're looking for an amuse style lip, I think they are still selling them in polyurethane or fiberglass.

I looked at the pictures on S2ki.com and the lip that I purchased fit the exact same way....like crap!! I really want to get nice amuse style lip but dont know where to get it from. If someone would please direct me in the right direction I would appreciate it. FYI - I have tried to get ahold of teamspugen but everytime I call I never get an answer. I have also left several messages and no response. Please help!!!!!!

I also took pictures of the fit on my car and I will post up soon.....

Actually, the authentic Amuse lips fit with gaps as well under the faux ducts. We carry the poly eurethane lips in the Amuse style and Air Walker style. Both lips will have no gaps. The fiberglass will have gaps unfortunately since the authentic also has gaps.

Thanks!

Duc,

Let me know what to do about ordering a lip from ya..... I am leaving on vacation for a week on Saturday so I won't be able to get anything until I get back. Also, can I get one already in GPW? Let me know, buuuuudddy.

Rob (not the notorious Gay Rob though.... hahaha)

Hi Rob,

I am sorry but I no longer offer the lips prepainted. My painter has upped his price too high imo. I have the Amuse style and the Air Walker style. Please call my sales line at 562) 625-9711 and Mike will take the order. I am too on vacation and will not be able to help out much.

Thanks!

Duc

I didn't even realize I took pictures of both the blue and red s2000's at the hot import nights show. Heres a bigger one of the suzuka. I have it in 1600x1200 as well as a hundred others cars there..

those openings in the upper middle of the bumper ruin that. The lower portion looks pretty good though.

I would never put a knockoff [Amuse "style"] lip on my S2000.

like some above posts have indicated... the authentic amuse lip is not perfect either.
if you are looking for a no-doubts perfect fit, go oem...

i've seen a replica amuse lip perfectly..and i believe it was purchased from spugen.
