Well, its on the car .. Greddy EVO2 I don't recall seeing anyone else with an EVO2 here so I'll post some pics .. let me know what you think ..

3 pieces? how loud is it?

 

Yes.. its a 3-piece and it comes with a "healthy" resonator (just over 20inches long!!).. The JDM 4-1 was installed yesterday and the test-pipe should be in later today.. I'll record a vid so you can hear it .. hopefully it won't be annoyingly loud .. I have to say that the fitment was great !! I can pull and tug on the system and it won't contact the car anywhere.. The rear bumper clears the pipe by about 1/2 inch and it sits nicely centered on the oem bumper cut-out..

 

That's a nice looking piece. Any increase in #'s on the butt dyno?

I'm guessing 60mm piping (aprx. 2.38")

 

Greddy documentation says its a 60-70mm mandrel bent.. I know you guys like the 2.5" piping but I got a very good deal on the exhaust and I figured I'd give it a try .. The system looks very unrestrictive and almost looks like a 2.5" diameter.. Anyway, I hope to have the test pipe installed this afternoon and I'll take some sound and video recordings.. The setup is JDM 4-1 header, 2.5" test-pipe, EVO2 cat-back..

I'll also snap some more pics when the car is washed.. it is truly filthy right now and the bling factor is low The pipe looks dope on the black car .. It sticks out about 1/2 inch longer than I would have wanted but still, I really like it.. The pipe exit is HUGE !!

Also awaiting for some sound clips.

 

So is the Evo2 just an Evo1 with fully stainless piping? Or are there other differences?

 

i never did like the sound of the evo so i will be awaiting the sound clips. i'm sure it'll be a nice setup for what you paid.

Nice exhaust. I have the original Evo on my Si. To bad I dont have the SS piping.
