exhaust question
I got the cheese lame BW rear for my car. Now It wont fit cause my greddy evo is in the way. Is it safe to relocate the hangers and move the exhaust over a little? Like move the hangers near the tip just a few inches. Would that be possible without bending the catback or my header? Cause Im not to sure about it. I know this will get me Flamed but someone will know. Or have been in this same situation.
is it ok to bend the hangers on the Evo exhaust at the end of it? Is that what you were talking about? Because I cant get it on still there is something in the way. That goes to the frame I will post up pics later tonight? Unless you guys know what Im talking about.

id say ditch the BW bumper
if you have too many problems and run into a dead end you could always go to a welding shop and let them know what you need and they will do it for you no problem. good luck

i got the bw rear bumper on also when i got the car... for looks its pretty decent. but it is one PITA if you have lots of potholes in your area... i took a damn sander and sanded down practically most the rear due to bottoming out constantly... im in ny home of the potholes ;\
but from what it looks like u can always get longer hangers welded that shouldnt cost too much..

Ok so I took my car to a exhaust shop on last Sat. It was a bitch because i had to put my bumper in the trunk. Well after cracking it a little bit from the ride. I get to the shop and they say it will be 20 mins before they can look at it. So then I walk to mcdonalds and come back at about 20 mins. They say look there is no way the bumper and this exhaust will work im sorry. So i tell them my friend has the same car same exaust and same bumper. They say well it must have hung lower on his car. I said well do what u have to do. They said it wont work we have certified technicians so after driving one hr to get there I had to put it in the trunk and take it back. I know it has to work what about MIDAS? So MAD HATTER EXHAUST screw you. It was such a bitch man that was hard work and for nothing. There the ones that told me to bring it to them and they would look at it. I guess that it was just because it was Easter Sunday the next day. So they wanted to go home and sex up there wifes.
i found asked around on local forums about where to get work like that done... you might want to do the same or chances are you'll get screwed. a lot of places aren't import-friendly anymore

no i didnt i dont really want to do that. Its a expensive exhaust but that would work probably I have thought about it. But the hanger may never be the same on the exhaust. It should fit good cause the guy I bought the bumper from had the same car and exhaust and it was fine. He also had two inches of the bumper cut out and the fiberglass reinforced.
So now I took it to another place and they said that they can make it fit. But they will have to cut the stainless steel hanger on the exhaust. They said they will also have to heat the exhaust up to move it over 3-4 inches is that safe? A guy at the shop also said we could get the exhaust and make it work. I said not that exhaust no way.
