My girlfriend has an f22 and auto tranny in her car. I think the tranny is going bad, but i am not sure if there is some sort of adjustment to fix it. When you go to put it into gear, it take a little bit of time to actually go into gear. Example, if you go to park and put it in park, it doesnt go into park and the keys are stuck in the ignition. Another example, i was driving down the driveway and needed to back up, i put the car in reverse and it took every bit of 10 seconds to actually engage. Any idea what would cause this? Clutch pack going bad? Shift solenoids?
