Default NSX Airbox

Anyone know or hear about the use of the NSX airbox. What kind of mods needed to get the airbox to fit. Someone's selling theirs for $100 with a new K&N drop in filter, should i just pick it up and figure it out later? I recall reading an article in SCC about the Comptech ITRs using this setup. Thanks in advance for any info.

the only reason that those ITR's use that is because they are bonded by regulations as far as airbox's are concerned, they are not allowed, aftermarket intakes.

i think the only need for this would to look cool, unless your flwoing that much air that you loose power with the stock air box, plus if you look at most of the japanese tuners pictures youll see there still using the stock air box just with a different kind of filter.
