DID MPFI not getting spark im guessing dist...
Ok i got it all finished and no spark
im getting fuel i can smell it. I got the dist of a friends working car but now im think it isnt working all my plugs are right and wires are coreect went over them numerious times. I got a good ecu im not getting any codes except at one poit i was getting 6 10 13 i dunno what they mean but i dont get em anymore. Well if you have any ideas i appreciate it thx.

I have had this problem many times it might be the ignition coil. To test if you have spark take out one of the spark plug wires off of the plug not the distributor. Then have someone start the car and while they are doing this put the end of the plug wire on something metal (that is on the car) and you should see a spark if not I can't help you anymore, but i beat almost anything that it is an ignition coil.

what wires did you have crossed. Your injector just isnt pulsing prob.. I would check the resistor box. When you said you had the wires crossed and you didnt get spark??? What wires ??? I think it might be my ignitor coil
you probably need to replace the o rings on the injector #3. as for the car not starting, if you've retraced all your wires and know it's not wiring then check all your grounds. did you replace the dizzy plug or just hardwire it? check resistor box. did you solder all your wire connections?
i didnt have a soldering tool so i just took my time and used butt connectors all the connections look good i dont see why the wires wouldnt have contact. I also black taped them all up. The two wires at the dist i didnt cross i used a i think like a 92 integ plug there the same as the si.I hate me car anyone want to buy it lol..
what he means is the 2 white wires are weasy to mix up. Some directions say one wire is thicker than the other, but often they are completely the same. Just try and repin them - switch them places - and see what will happen then. Car just might start.
Good luck. And let us know how it went.

My friends car is doing the same thing.
We've double-checked the wiring, and I know the distributor is wired right because the two white wires aren't even close to the same size. One is considerably larger.
I think we may have gotten a bad dizzy from the junkyard, because he's not getting any spark.

yeah i had the same problem, i wasnt getting spark so i figured it was the 2 white wires, i switched them and it get spark now
i have done this swap numerous times
1- the white wires are crossed
i have done it many times and they are the same , u gotta be careful when u depin them from the plug into the new plgu since they are very easy to get confused
2-make sure the pins are good and snug inside the ecu plug
3- make sure u got the rotor inside the dizzy ( u will be surprise how many people do this)
4- i will go doble triple time over all wiring and make sure its right

The pulses that the sensor inside the distributor sends back to the ECU control the injectors. If you messed up distribuotr wiring then you can bet your injectors are not firing correctly.
