Always wondered what the hell it was, it's underneath the Intake Manifold Support Bracket, on the tranny side on the back of the block....



I'm going to try to pull apart this b16a short block I got with my car that had hydrolocked... Wondering what the hell that thing was and if I could sell it.

 

It's part of the PCV system. Collects oil vapour and crud.

 

Thx dude Any word for it(a good ebay title perhaps)? And do they sell for anything?

 

i doubt it, but you never know...i wondered what it was also

 

Its just a oil breather

 

well its good to see that you know what a good oil filter is all about the Fram Tough Guard 99% efficent cant beat that

 

That engine blew up.... Luckily it had nothing to do with the oil
