Default Estimation on money

Hello, currently Im on a 97 Honda Accord LX Automatic

Around how much would it cost for an H22 Manual Tranny Swap.
Buy the Engine
Go to a pro shop to install. ( I don't have too much exp and either does anyone I know around Topeka, Kansas)
Then put a Turbo on it.

engine = $2k-$2.5k
install = $1k
turbo kit = $2.5k
tuning/EMU = $500

then do this all over again about every 6 months because ur trying to boost a high compression engine w/o beefing up the block

stock h22 turbo is NOT smart unless you REALLY REALLY know what your doing and u run very low boost (6-8psi, and 8 is pushing it IMO).....

Okay so what about if I go ahead and get a good turbo kit for the f22 and a few bult ons (exhaust, cai, etc.) you sayin I can pull a 250 whp?

Holy mother thats awsome.

If Im wrong here please tell me because I don't know too much about modden Honda's.

Oh and also what was accordfreaks 1/4 mile times with that power and he had the f22?

And one more thing: I have an automatic as of now. How much whp would I have with the auto and how much if possible is a manual swap?

http://www.beesandgoats.com/bo....html

read this, all of it......u can do it, cause i did, and i have the attention span of a goldfish

BTW, u really cant run a CAI w/ a turbo setup, and that wouldnt do jack ****....when ur going turbo, its all about tuning, fuel management and exhaust flow...
