Default CMP - big thanks!

Everyone did a great job at CMP - thanks to all those who made the journey, inluding the sponsors (Knowledge,R&D Carbotech, Curpier etc etc.)

Traditionally CMP has been our smallest event, so Im hoping 20 cars is our smallest field of the year. All 5 classes were represented!!!! 4 track records were broken.

I still dont know how we managed to do a standing start with a rolling start behind but Kudos to NASA for making it work!

Thanks to all the sponsors!

I also noticed how close the racing will be this year. 04 championships will be hard fought!

Alex.

Yes, hats off to you and John for a great job getting this season organized and all the sponsor and contingency awards.

I raced with NASA back in 2002 at Summit and have to say, they have come a long way since then.

I also wanted to comment on the clean racing I witnessed from my racing seat. This applies to both the HC racers and the rest of the grid in small bore......GREAT JOB !!!

In fact some backmarkers were too generous, pointing me, Phil and Lyonel by after they had commited to the corner and going way off line. They obviously knew we were fighting for postion so hats off to them.

And also hats off to Lyonel for his clean racing. We both had some fun battles and gave each other room in the corners. THis is what makes racing fun and safe, when you know the guy right next to you isn't thinking about punting you off.

It was nice meeting John W., Phil, Karl and Corey and the rest of the H1/H2/H3 gang (sorry if I left anyone else out).

Looking forward to the rest of the 04 season.

Regards,

Jon

Bad things happen when you're not loyal to your series...bwahahaha

Seriously, ditto to what the Rat said. Great weekend, indeed.

Thanks to Terry for the awesome grub on Sunday too!
