I dont know too much about the RSX (other than its slower than my Hype R ) but Im curious to know how well they hold their value? My sister is selling her 02 RSX Type S and just curious what she should expect to get for it? Its white with non-HID black housing headlights, 23K miles. Other than that its stock. I think the "blue book" value is like 18,000. Is that reasonable or over/under priced?

 

from my experience around here all the type S s are going for anywhere from 18-21 k used

 

I dont understand how someone could get 21K out of a used RSX-S... although I know it does happen. But you can get new ones OTD for 22-23K.

 

I have a 2003 w/ 15k. The dealer wants to give me 16.5k. they can kiss my ***.

i bought my brand new 04, for 21,300 minus tax title n reg...

 

my friend just sold his for 16,800 it was a pearl white type s stock with 28 k highway miles .u guys missed out there wasnt anything wrong with it at all

 

Up here in Canada, all the RSX models don't hold their value that well..

I've seen 2002's with aorund 60k km (~37k miles) on them going for $22k (~$17k us)... if you go for a bit more milage, the cheaper it gets.

Its rare to find it for this price at an Acura used car lot, but it does pop up from time to time.
