Default hyperground wires...

are these worth it or are they just a waste of money ?

ive read some peoples reviews and have gotten dufferent results. I wanted to ask you guys if you noticed any power gains?

im sorry guys, but i thought these are a grounding kit that goes from the battery terminal to the car.

thanks

Is anyone aware that heavier ground cables will do very little for "power gains". The most they can do is reduce some of the load on the Alternator-and that won't be much either. Honda is very good at engineering electrical systems. The only benefit of heavier wire will be when you have a massive stereo and an alternaotr and battery that needs the added amperage capacity.
SAVE you money for something more important.

I agree, it's kind of a waste of time. If you ar ran out of mods (haha yea right), or most importantly have a huge system, go for it. Otherwise it seems like it is mostly for show.

They're a waste of money.

If you NEED a new set of wires, then get some NGK's.

Whoops! Wrong wires!

They're still a waste of money. Dynos have shown that they give little to no horsepower gains. There ARE a few cars that do respond a bit to them, like the WRX, because they have a poor grounding system from the factory, but not ours cars.

I agree that the kits are a waste. Sometimes when you do engine swaps you might need more grounding. Grounding better will help sensors get a more accurate reading.... But more power, I doubt.

honda did do a good job on eletrical stuff, the hyper ground is a waste on hondas. I added a couple when i did my swap for the hell of it but it was spare wire. I've seen some messed up stuff from bad grounds though, on other cars at school. When you have bad grounds your motor trys to ground through whatever possible, so after a while it can mess up rubber bushings, seals, etc.. If its really bothering you, get the multimeter out and test your ground wires, or just add some wires ha, its not going to hurt anything but your wallet

I got bored and did a "homebrew" version of it for $20 with 8 and 4 gauge audio wire. Didn't feel a damn bit of difference, though in total it was a 1 hour project. So I don't think it took too much from my life.
