Is anyone running a p30 ecu with an xsi swap in there crx? If so does it run better than using the orginal pr3 ecu. Thanks

It will run as an OBD1 ecu, as long as everything is wired appropriatly. And all the sensors are provided for (OBD0 and OBD1 dizzys are not compatible.)

Also the USDM P30 may look for some emissions sensors that the PR3 definitly doesn't.

 

p30 is a obd1 ecu. an xsi is obd0.

you can switch to obd1 (many ppl do)

but then you can just run a p28 and have it tuned to what ever the hell you want out of it

p30 would just be a lil harder to find and probably a lil more money i would think

My p30 seems to run leaner then my old Pr3 ecu.
