Sell it or keep it?? NEED GOOD ADVICE FROM EVERYONE HERE
THANKS
Someone want to buy my R I don't know if I should sell it or not, I told him around $63,000 to $65,000.. He want to bring it back to South America to road race ( he is in his upper 50s) so I think he is pretty serious about it, beside he came up to me first.
I put in 4 years of my time since Oct 98 (that was the last time I drove it) and X amount of money and A LOT of research into it I can't just sell it, a lot of my friend told me to get rid of it, it makes my life easier... from a non racer point of view of course sell it. If I keep the race car, I still need another 4 to 5 grand to finish it up and I need $2770 more for me to payoff the car. He even want to buy my supercrew truck.
$60 grand is a large amount, at least for a 23 year old. If I sell it should I do it over again? or use that money to invest in something else?
Will post my new setup if you guys want to read it again.

if so, send him my way, i'll cut him a deal for $50,000

Yeah man you gotta tell us what's in this car. Even Roger Foo's Civic, a proven race winner in the Speedvision series, is selling for like 20-something grand if I remember correctly, and definitely no more than 30K. Since modding a car oftentimes brings down the value of it (especially if you've removed a lot of ****), what makes your R worth 60K? Not doubting, just saying we need a little more info.
Yes, my curiosity is high right now too.
Did I read that right, you haven't driven it since '98??
Modifications please.

You can answer this question yourself... how much is it worth to you? If his figures match up nicely, then sell it. If it doesn't, don't.
Type R is nice, but there are other interesting projects out there.

So you've put all this $$ into it, plus the PS2 and AV goodies, and haven't driven it since 1998? Sounds like you're enjoying the hell out of it to me.
How can it be a road racer if you don't even drive it? I say sell it to someone who will actually drive it. Where in South America does the guy live? Brazil or Argentina I imagine? If he lives in Colombia, don't sell it to him. The car (and probably the driver) will be dead if it is ever seen on the street.

Sounds like all the ICE is in the truck. Is the truck part of the deal? Where the hell you get your money from, kid? (Never mind, it's none of my bidness)
they're getting this too in the price right?

For that kind of money, you'd better get the truck with the car!
So the cars' got ITB's and a good engine management system. It still sounds like it's about 100% overpriced. If I added ITB's and a engine management system, I still couldn't get that kind of coin for my R in Canadian dollars, never mind American dollars!
Here's a half assed list of my mods (in case anyone wanted to compare) It's under 35mugen about half way down the page.
