Members with oil coolers - Which filter relocation kit?
I tried using a sandwich adapter, but there's no room down there with my oil pressure sender in the way. I need a block off plate with -10 AN fittings coming strait off the back.
what about greddy, an earlier review showed there should be room for send/return line + gauge output.. now.. if you're to run something like that, is there a need for factory oil cooler? shouldn't that be removed?

1. I already bought a cooler, thermostat, and lines, so the buying the greddy kit would be pointless.
2. Removing the factory "oil and coolant temperature equilibrium device" can be more trouble than it's worth.

I recommend peicing together one yourself. Manny fittings that come with the mainstream kits are crap, they use band clamps on the braided lines and poor quality lines at that. You can probably do it for half the price as a greddy kit as well. Was considering one for a while, but my oil temps seem fine enough during racing where I dont need one at this point. Relocation would be nice though.
I am piecing one together. All I need is a screw on adapter for the block that has the fittings coming straight out, not to the side.

Check out the B&M one this guy is selling. Maybe ask B&M for just the adapter.

Permacool PRM-116 I think it is. $13.99 from Summit Racing.
You'll also need a pair of 1/2"NPT to -10AN flare adapter fittings.
I think the remote filter head is PRM-1394. It uses a 3/4"x16 oil filter like those found on most Fords I think.

Thanks man, that exactly what I was looking for. I did search permacool's website, don't know how I missed that.
