Default i got a couple questions

Hey i just bought a 95 ex coupe and i have a few questions. First, there is rust on some parts inside the engine, one of the biggest things is the exhaust manifold. What can i use to safely get rust out of the engine myself? Can i sand that or should i get some special rust removal spray or wht? Also the hood has some bubbling on the front edge, wht is this from and can i remove it? Finally, both front side windows seem to go slowly when moving up or down and sometimes the passenger side gets stuck and i have to hold the button for a while untill it goes up again. What causes that and how can i fix it? Thanks in advance.

you could use a wire brush for some rust removal

you can buy a new hood or have it repainted

you may need new window actuators eventually, which require door panel removal(invest in a chiltons on helms manual)

with the window, try and lube the run channel with some spray silicone. that will make the windows work alittle better

I was gonna say that myself. Some kind of lube; WD-40, chain oil, Astroglide, white grease, etc.

Don't brother much with the exhaust manifold, it's another honda thing.
you can brush it off with wire brush but it would pretty much come back on without you putting a protective coat there.

rust on hood=cut it and weld it with a stainless steel plate, that's the only way, you can patch all you want with bondo but it will come back after a year or so, guarantee

it's cast iron as far as i know, it's just gonna have a thin coat of very light rust there. unless you put the accord on the surface of the moon(LOL)
it's very common and nothing to worry about.

not just Honda thing; ALL vehicles get a patina of rust on the exhaust headers. its mainly because the high temps promote oxidation. leave it alone. usually its hidden by a heat shield, so where is your heat shield? if you don't like the look, get a new heat shield on there. silly to remove it. there are some high temperature paints that resist corrosion you could try, and that you can paint right over the rust, but they won't last.

bubbling....in the clear coat? the leading edge gets a lot of abuse from rocks and road crap. you can put a bra on it to hide it until you get a new paint job, if you like that look. otherwise, some people put wind deflectors. other than that: get a new paint job.

try lubing the window channels with silicone grease. make sure the windows haven't jumped the track and are running outside the rubber, next to the frame. it happens on older Hondas. see my other post how to fix this.
