Notorious RUST
it must be a design flaw. i don't think you can get a new quarter panel, it's part of the unibody. i myself am looking for a good body shop to fix my rust spot.
one of the few bad ideas that honda had was to put the rubber lining around the wheel weld in the rear "quarter" panels. if you still have the rubber lining on just the lip of the fender, pull it off. it serves no purpose, other than to cause rust problems. once you pull that off, just get the body work done and you will never have that problem again (at least not from that anyway).
So I guess they ALL rust? I figured mine just rusted due to a shitty paint job from a very small incident in my garage. The side with the factory paint is pristene.
