Default jdm ecu

I was wondering if a reprogrammed JDM ECU would be benifical?

Techtom says the JDM and USDM maps are the same however the JDM ecu has the 101 RON or 96 octane maps along with possibly a low temp high octane map these are most likely present but locked in the USDM version. there going to look into it however it would be of little use.

Also the JDM ECM is likely to have the 200 kph aka 112 mph fuel cut off. I am almost certain since one of the catalogs I have a speed cut defenser listed.

don't forget immobilizer not used in the jdm ecu.
