Default shamless whorepost, lookit my new stuff!

(note - this is for a 1995 240sx)
got my kirk bar in, diag. bar and harness bar, and while i was talking with them on the phone, i found it was only 30$ for another crossbar from the drivers head to the opposite rear leg, so i said what the heck. Paint got messed up in shipping so it isnt too pretty but whatever. what do you guys think?

Also got my buddy club bucket seat in (i would like opinions on this, the seat fits me very well, is supportive, etc etc. but it is made from ABS plastic which seems kindof strange to me. The seat is very rigid and all when banging around on it with my hands, but who knows in a crash. If anyone has any info on this product i would love to see it.) as well as my outdated simpson 6 point. just autox for now so it should do the trick.

got a r32 steering wheel sitting around in my garage so that will be replacing my airbag whenever i get around to it.

i would love to hear any feedback, opinions, whatever!

Are you going to leave the rear seats in?

Depending on what class he's auto-xing in, he may have to (I know STS requires this)

How'd you mount the seat? I have a '91 240SX I'm trying to stick seats in, and that stupid transmission tunnel lump on the innermost side of each floorpanel keeps getting in the way.

Sidemount seats usually sit low enough with off the shelf brackets.

Bottom-mount seats will never fit properly, unless you buy pimpy JDM stuff.

Buttcrack, it's good to see someone doing the stuff to their car that I'd be doing if I still had my 240SX...

Cat, tranny, exhaust, blow-up doll storage bin, whatever, it's a pain in my ***. I had tried fiddling with a sidemounted seat (Pro2000s), and it kept coming up funky. Just wondering if it was something off the shelf or what.

sorry for slow reply, i havent been checking up recently.

Previously i had an arospeed bucket seat (crap) that i was trying to ghetto rig onto the stock sliders, didnt work very well. I was tired of ghetto rigging so i just shelled out for the buddy club seat rail, cost me 180$ shipped. I have also heard that bride rails are compatible with a lot of stuff.

Are they (Buddy Club) the same as the Bride rails in that one mounts to the edge of the seat and the other lays beneath the center of the seat? It's a bit hard to describe online, but the alternative would be that both rails are mounted to opposite edges/sides of the seat.
