Overheating and engine damage, previous experience sugg.?
NEW PROBLEM CLICK HERE OR GO DOWN!!
The teg has been overheating recently really badly and today it took a dive for the worst and heated to the point of engine damage. Had to make it home couldn't really stop. All I've done so far is flush the radiator to see if anything was clogged. Anybody have any suggestions on what I should be looking for to fix from the damage. I hope to god it has nothing to do with engine warping, but I just need to know if anybody that has accidentally overheated their car knows what to fix. Thanks ahead of time. Poor teggy

was it a real emergency to get home?
a stop and go would have taken you home.
now repairs are more costly
example
warped head
bent valves
good luck......

stop and go about 3 times, but i still had to get it back to the garage. thought so about the warped head, damn, thanks
Here's what happened to me: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=776553
I had Alaniz do a street master port job after checking that the head had no cracks, wasn't badly warped, etc... Got stainless steel valves, new valve springs and retainers, just waiting to put it back on...
Hope yours was okay...

Gotta bring this post back because i think i may have found the problem and i need you experts to help me decide if it's a possible reason. Okay for the first repair i put the new spark plug tube seals for the valve cover on top of the old ones (i know, stupid, gimme a break it was the first overhaul
) and these things were melted to hell and back causing tons of oil to get in the spark plugs. Now, when i took the head off to inspect everything all the oil was on top of the pistons.. do you think the oil coming in from the valvle cover got into the spark plugs and then down into the cylinder causing i to bog? I haven't checked the block yet, but from what i can see from the top view nothing is cracked or warped, and from inspecting the head i can't find ANYTHING wrong with that!! I can't even slip a feeler gauge underneath a straight-edge or anything. Please help yo.
Cliff Notes: Head's not warped, don't think block is damaged, oil in pistons, wrong install for spark plug tube seals, more bogging than damage?

I am willing to put my money on the fact that your piston rings are fried to death and are letting oil seep up into the combustion chamber. You might also notice your teg is sucking up gas like its nothing and your exhaust pipes are charcoal black on the inside. fixing this aint cheap but your exhaust wont be rusting for a while.
haha, i'm about 99.82365% sure that ain't the prob, i'm not sucking gas, the exhaust isn't black, and i redid the pistons and rings 2 months ago you also forgot to mention the converter over-heating from carbon blocking.. so no, but in the slim chance you are right there's another set of rings sitting on the shelf and you can have a cookie
, thanks for the input though
