Default DA B18A head

I wanted to rebuild my head on my DA. What parts will i need to bring a little more power on the top end? thanks

get it ported polished... oversized valves .. valve train for aggressive cams ... and some aggressive cams + cam gears to tune them

Get head work done, then get a high performance valvetrain and install good cams... Crower 42403's and 42404's made really, really good power if you combine them with high compression pistons. Your powerband'll shift to the right and you'll make a good amount of power, and you'll probably monkey rape most GSR's up and down.

I was going to do the same with the oversized valves; but I looked into it and it seems to much more of a hassle. Just a thought. Id just keep the stock valve size; and port that bitch hehe

I walk on GSRS now with just bolt ons

hahahah

Anyways, http://www.g2ic.com might help you a lot more. Its a board specifically for DA's. A lot of people over there use the Crower 403's and get pretty good results, im planning on getting those for my DA when i get some cash in. The 404's i hear are hard to get to idle, and theyre supposed to be for race only (that never kept anyone from using them on the street though )
