Ya... you could. Element's have K24's, right? If you have the block you could swap it out. Not sure what would be involved, though.

 

I think the heads are about the same anyway...

yes you can. P7 auto has done it. a note of warning though, you will not be able to rev it like you can a crVTEC hybrid. the reason being that the K24 has too much piston travel to achieve those high RPMs.

 

why would u want the ep head (a3) it sucks and its weak

 

the k24a1 which is the engine in question can be matched up to the k20a3, but is the identical head. if you are doing this to do a crvtec like setup you need to get an k20a2 or k20a to see the benefits. I would imagine with the k20a3 ecu reflashed it would be a nice setup, but don't go to the troubies of putting the a3 head on it
