wassup guys. i have a bulit up all motor ls/vtec and i have a b16 tranny but i want to put lsd in it but i dont want phantom grip cuz i heard they sux. i can buy s ctr lsd off of ebay for 250 but i dont know what other parts to get cuz its a hydro lsd.

i wanted to know if anyone has done this or something like it, and what parts you need and how much appox.

Well it would help if you told us EXACTLY which B16 tranny you have, there is more than 1 after all. And they are not all alike.

 

i have a y1 cable

 

You need a Y-1 LSD AND Final drive from another Y-1 tranny. Y-1 has the Ring gear permanently attached to the Differential. Easier to sell it and buy one with the LSD already.

 

Go with a Kazz or Quaffe for 90-91 Integra. Much better than the OEM LSD and your current gears (FD and speedo) will swap over to these units. Cusco makes them for the Y1but they are hard to find.

 

so if i buy a kazz for a 90-91 integra it will bolt right to my tranny??????

 

sorry to use your thread for my question bro,how about putting an lsd into a jdm s1 tranny:what oem lsd will work and is there anything else to change for that job?
