got a new cluster. i want to match (roll back) the miles!!! please help!
first off id like to say im not doing any thing illegal here, and i have no intentions to sell my car (and if i ever do, i will disclose that these are not the true mileage (even though it will be, down to the exact mile))
my car was hit as i was leaving form school last year, and i retained the car (salvaged) and built it back up.
as a result (how i dont know), my tach got messed up, so i went to the junk yard and got a new cluster. the cluster i got read 247,xxx (i have it written down, upstairs), and my original cluster read 169,xxx (also have the miles written down), so i know the EXACT # of miles that are on my chasis. i would like roll the new cluster back so they represent the true miles that are on my car. please help!.

and theres nothing fishy about this dude, im trying to make my cluster read 176,042
who the **** would roll there miles to 176,042 to try and sell a car? this is for personal satisfaction to know that my car reads the correct mileage.
