my sister's 99 accord threw a 41 code?!!!
Ok, first off, it gave a 72 and 73 code, engine misfire. We needed to change the gasket anyway, and saw some coolant in the oil. so i told him it was a gasket problem. we fix that today, and the CEL is still on, threw a 41 code which is the primary oxygen sensor.
Question is,
is the primary the one on the Exhaust manifold? or is there one on the cat like the b series? i couldn't see any other o2 sensor, but the car was also down on the ground ( not jacked up anymore). We decided to finish it tomorrow, but just want to know if its the o2 sensor on the header.
thank you.

there is an O2 sensor in the cat. if you have a code P0141 (OBD II scan tool) that is the sensor in the cat. take your car to like auto zone i think, that is where they scan it for free
i work at honda dealership.. and yes the code you have is the primary ho2 sensor failure...
obd 2 vehicle have 2 o2 sensors ...the primary one is on the exhaust (header) and the sencond is on the cat....
usually we replace the ho2 sensor because the sensor is defective and it would respond slowly causing the ecm to set code 41
