Dyno'd Today - Graph - USDM B18C1 - OK?
Dyno'd my EK hatchy today.
Stock '96 USDM B18C1, generic short-ram intake, stock IM, stock EM, clogged cat, Apex-i N1 catback.
Here's the tricky part...
OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness and a P28 ECU w/ a stock P72 program, usuing the IAB switch control as a full throttle launch control. So, in other words, I have no working IAB.
My guess ahead of time was 152 WHP and 118 Torque...actual was 150.86 and 116.06, with a CRAZY torque curve, which I'm attributing to lack of IAB.
Is this about what you'd expect, too?

i think he was heckling my honda racing stickers.
(yes, i race the car)
USDM b18c1 = 170 hp
figuring the standard of mulitplying by 1.15 for drivetrain loss, that's about 173 flywheel hp. ...which is what i expected with a short-ram intake, clogged cat, and 2.25" catback.
i'm more interested in your thoughts on the torque curve.

You're an idiot. Stock C1 is 170crank, or about 150-155whp..He also said a clogged cat.
I'd run a straight pipe, get some uberdata so you can have actual launch control, and get the IAB's working again and you should be near 160whp

b18c1 isnt "around" 180 its 170hp and taking an average of 15% loss for account of whp its around 145. And most stock gsr's I have seen were around 148-152hp. You numbers are fine for a stock b18c1.

15% loss why</TD></TR></TABLE>
Through energy expended inbetween the motor, through the drivetrain and to the wheels, and whatever other things are choking power like stock emissions equipment.
