Default Cheap coilovers, pictures and tech questions

Well guys, i said screw it, and went for cheap coilovers. My neuspeed springs werent low enough for me

I was wondering how can i lower the Rear any more. The adjustable 'coilover' part slips down into the rear strut where the spring seats. So i can only lower like 3" in the back.

Right now i have the coil overs spun all the way down, with 2/3 of the rubber bounce cut down. I threw some steelies on the front because i dont wanna eat up my good tires. (i cant believe its not lower spun all the way down)

Now... I kno that im going to have to buy a camber kit. Basically what is the cheapest one that does the trick, and are they hard to install?

Do you guys think i should drop the rear more and make or car sit flat or leave it how it is.

Im about to buy new tires also for my new hammers. Could i tuck 205/50's under there, or should i stay with 195?

btw they are maxspeed coils hahaha

I'll be the first to say you're not helping yourself any by riding around that low. Suspension travel will win out of an excessively lowered car any day.

I suggest you raise it back up a little bit, go back to the springs you had and sell the coils. Use the money you wasted on the crappy coils to get the front half of your car painted.

EDIT: I do love those taillights!

I hated the stance with the springs, its just not low enough. How can my suspention be messed up if i have aftermarket strut, coil overs, camber kit, and an alignment.

Im just looking for the best way to slam my car with having a half way decient ride, and not spending a ton. I kno maxspeeds suck but oh well, better than cup springs

Yes i kno i need a paint job, thats for the summer time when i get everything perfect. In the mean time i dont mind driving around Hella ghetto

And geez dont make fun of the tail lights

Okay, here we go.

First things first, I was being for real about liking the tails.

Now for your being slammed setup. You need suspension travel if you would like to handle well. Simple as that. Being slammed isn't helping your struts out either.

I honestly don't know how to handle well if you want to be 1/2 inch off of the ground.

Interesting... you the First person that said they have liked my tails haha. I kno it's not going to handle like a little race car But.... Before i rubbed all the time, and now being lower, with a front upper strut bar installed is Way better than before without one, and being raised.

Thanks for the output

you do relize that putting the coil over all the way down because it will look lower will hurt you in the end. The springs are going to have to settle befor you get the actual drop out of them. and if you say you put the steelies on up front cause you dont want camber damage, but yet you want to sit on the ground? Second If you do want a camber kit, and you are super dropped like you want to be you will still have camber dammage.(the kits only help so much). Also when you go to put your rims back on (17's or 18's cant remeber what you have/had) the car and you have a camber kit you will have to raise the car back up becausethey will rub in the back, and you probably wont be able to turn. So just drop it like 2 1/2 front 2 rear or something just dont ride paround looking like you cut your springs to much.

Tail lights= because it's different.

Cool setup. Camber kits are pretty easy to put on. A friend and me put them on one time when i lowered my car. They look a bit like these:

Front:

Rear:

There are many kinds and style of camber kits available. I heard these are good decent ones. Can someone give me the names of these camber kits?

You can do the rears with washers.
